SHAPE RUN
Congratulations to all members who successfully completed the Shape and Great Eastern Women’s Runs this year! The Slender Shapes team is pleased and proud to see more and more of our members becoming fit enough to run and walk 5km – or more! Running is one of the best calorie-burning exercises available. However, be sure to protect your feet with the right kind of shoes, and use a heart rate monitor to keep an eye on your intensity level, especially if you are new to running. Also, don’t forget that resistance exercise is still part of a sustainable weight-loss programme, so keep up your Super Circuit workouts too!
